Penny and Lola
This sweet mother-and-daughter duo will arrive soon at our sanctuary. Their loving owner made the heartbreaking decision to surrender them due to her medical condition. Living with lupus has made it increasingly difficult for her to provide the care Penny and Lola deserve, and she lovingly chose to put their well-being first.
Penny and Lola are incredibly gentle, affectionate, and social donkeys. They love spending time with people, eagerly welcome scratches and attention, and look forward to their daily grooming sessions.
We're honored to give these two beautiful girls a safe place to call home, where they will be cherished and cared for every day. Please join us in welcoming Penny and Lola to our sanctuary family. 🫏❤️
Bacchus
At 15, Bacchus finally has what he’s always needed: donkey friends! Separated from his mom early in life, Bacchus spent most of his years with horses. As he lost his best friend goat, he was lonely and depressed.
His loving owner made the difficult, selfless decision to surrender Bacchus to Haven of Hope Sanctuary so he could find friendship and companionship with his own kind.
A playful soul who simply wanted to belong, Bacchus can now run, play, and be himself surrounded by donkeys who understand him. ❤️
